Here’s the deal…
Your guide will wait you at the airport, and drive you to Sinaia, one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Carpathian mountains.
In Sinaia, you will stay 6nights/7days in a 4* hotels: “Hotel International” (www.international-sinaia.ro), “Hotel New Montana” (www.newmontana.ro ) , with breakfast included.
We start our journey in Sinaia. Located in a beautiful mountainous region, at the foothills of the Bucegi Mountains. Sinaia is one of the oldest and most famous mountain resorts, often referred to as “The Pearl of the Carpathians”. Sinaia takes its name from the 17th-century monastery built here by a Romanian nobleman after undertaking a pilgrimage to Mount Sinai, Egypt. Sinaia boasts ski slopes at an altitude of 2000 m, on the plateau of the Bucegi mountains.
Visit “Peles Castle”. In the natural back drops of the Carpathian mountains the Palace of Peles is a masterpiece of German Renaissance architecture. Used to be the Romanian Royalty Summer residence and retreat.
Then we continue the day with the cable car to “Cota 2000”. There we are going to have an amazing view thru the valley (Prahova Valley). We stop there to take the lunch.
On our way back we are going to visit “Cantacuzino Castle” in Busteni, which is one of the top castles in Romania in terms of architecture. Surrounded by waterfalls, grottoes and fountains the castle offer an fantastic view to Bucegi mountains.
Second day we are going in an adventure trip. We take the Jeep’s and we go up at 2200m at “Bucegi Plateau”. Here at “Bucegi Plateau”, where wind and rain have turned the rocks into spectacular figures such as the Sphinx, a rock with the shape of a human-like face, with a lingering and enigmatic smile and Babele( The Old Ladies), we are going to see amazing landscapes and hear amazing stories.
On the plateau we are going to hike to Caraiman Cross. Located at an altitude of 2,291 meters in the Bucegi mountains, the 40 meter cross which stands on top of the Caraiman peak it’s tallest summit cross in the world.
We are going to serve lunch on the plateau at “Chalet Babele”
On our way back, we are taking the cable car down to Busteni.
We are going to visit Brasov. Brasov is one of the largest and most cherished cities of the country. Surrounded on three sides by mountains, it was a perfect place for a medieval settlement. The old city, founded in 1211, is one of the best preserved cities in all of Europe. It was thoroughly restored to the delight of an increasing number of tourists. It is the capital city of Brasov County, in central Romania, in Transylvania, at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. Braşov boasts everything from dynamic modern city life to old world charm and fascinating scenery.
Here we are going to visit, “Black Church”, “Rope Street” (the narrowest street from Europe), visit Brasov with a double-decker bus, take the cable car and go on “Tampa Peak” where we are going to serve the lunch.
Dracula Castle! Yes we are going to find out the well-known story about Dracula.
“Bran Castle” know as Dracula house originally built as a fortress for the Knights of the Teutonic in 1212. It was later re-built in 13 C by the Saxons to protect the city of Brasov. Some versions refer to Bran Castle as the base for Vlad Tepes; although this point is heatedly debated among Dracula fans.
After visiting we are going to serve the lunch at Cheile Gradistei Fundata. An amazing place to see Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains.
The 6th day it’s a free day to relax and enjoy your holiday but, we can organize if you wish: trip to “Adventure Park”( an out-door sports activity with 10 progressively difficult tracks), “Equitation” , pool time at ”Aqua Paradise”, rent ATV, “Bike ride” (on the main ridge of the Baiului Mountains) and “Paragliding Flight”.
We will drive you to the airport and we are waiting you for the next trip.
